Here is the icons as requested for the chibi torchwood picture. The backgrounds for the icons have something to do with the storyline of torchwood or the character. I distored them so they don't take away from the icon thought. Behind the Ianto is a distored Cyberman. Behind Jack is a photo of RAF planes from WW2. Behind Toahiko is a page from a book. Behind Owen is a x-ray. And behind Gwen is a pictures of a fairy dress. I myself am a huge reader and WW2 buff so most of the images I scanned from my own books.
